Miss Elsa and I packed up the Jeep two weeks ago and made the long drive to my hometown of Junction City, Oregon (if you've never heard of it, don't feel bad... about 99.999% of the population hasn't!).
There were a couple of things that inspired the trip. First, it has been a while since the family had last seen their princess. Second, it was the town's annual Scandinavian Festival and I had to get some delicious food. Lastly, it was my *gasp* 10 year high school reunion. Can I just say that the reunion seemed to sneak up on me? I do not feel old enough for reunions!
We were gone for 10 days, which is the longest that Miss Elsa and I have ever been away from Carl (he stayed home to work and finance our little trip). We missed him like crazy and it gave me the opportunity to realize how much that Carl helps out with Miss Elsa in the evenings (like giving me a break from diaper duty!). However, we still managed to have fun, as shown by these pictures (I apologize in advance for there being so many!):

| Visiting with cousins. There were five high-energy girls at the house... Miss Elsa was a bit overwhelmed! |
| After being passed around a couple more times! |
| On the morning of the reunion, we gathered with four of my classmates and their families. It was a wonderful time to catch up with each other! |
| At said reunion. Please disregard the bizarre look on my face! |

| Hanging with Uncle Chris in her awesome Scandinavian costume. |
| Have to spend some time with Bedstefar! |
| Aunt Jean gave us some delicious aebleskiver to nibble on when we were at the festival. |
| Elsa trying to steal the Viking's weapon. We have a troublemaker on our hands. |
| Passed out from all of the festival fun! |
| Family BBQ! Here is the mandated "kids" picture (minus two cousins who weren't there). Right after the picture was taken, my cousins notified me that I should no longer be considered a "kid". So sad! |
| Awwww! |

| Three generations of Reerslev women |
| We stopped to see Elsa's great grandparents on our way back home. Here she is with Great Grandma Bern. |
